Dr. Mae Sakharov has successfully helped families negotiate the college admissions process since 1983 when she opened the first learning center in New York City. She has also been called on as a consultant to school districts, private schools, and churches.
Her encouragement and support guides students in reflecting on their own unique experiences, rather than having a cookie-cutter uniform approach that is the norm in most less personal organizations. Dr. Sakharov is generous with her time. Prospective college students feel comfortable, and are thus able to flex their inner resources.
